Chief Amazement Officer

The Alpha-techie, Sukhmani Singh is the CEO or as we like to call her Chief Amazement Officer. Leader at the helm, Sukhmani Singh believes that the right mixture of technology and human resource is the secret to a successful business.

After having been part of multiple Women’s Inspiration Networks, she was convinced that India needed a platform where creative entrepreneurs, especially women need to be highlighted. Hence, the birth of Ciconia. Ciconia is an emotion for her, where she ensures a culture driven by leading technology while recognizing the faces in the company who help brainstorm the “next big idea”.

Singh completed her MS in Information Systems with specialization in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business along with many Salesforce.com certifications. She has also worked as a marketing architect for many big Fortune 500 brands and strives to bring those experiences to Ciconia’s stakeholders especially vendors.

She wants to help the vendors understand the Indian gifting market to such an extent that they are able to predict the next best product for the ease of their Customers. Along with such powerful Artificial Intelligence built on the platform, Sukhmani wants to root Ciconia as a brand that is sustainable and gives back to the society while putting smiles on people’s faces one door at a time.

The Innovation Mastermind

Jovial nature and sharp financial wit is the best combination to describe Kunwar Sahib Singh our CFO. Hailing from a family of jewellery businessmen, he brings in his own creativity and craftsmanship in to propel the business.

He has a knack for jewellery and completed his diamond grading course from GIA, New York. However, his mind gets an adrenaline rush with the sound of money and planning financial risks. Kunwar completed his Bachelors in Finance and Information Systems Technology from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and is currently pursuing his CFA.

Brother of Sukhmani Singh, the siblings follow a strong moral code, professional ethics, and constant drive to learn and implement in their respective fields. In addition to being a successful young business leader, the jewel mogul is also an absolute fitness enthusiast. From ice skating, extreme sports, weight lifting, yoga and running, Kunwar keep himself engaged in a variety of activities to stay fit. Kunwar Singh is often found volunteering for the community and helping the poor, he believes in doing his best by giving back.

 Out-of-the-box-Thinker

After witnessing her passion for the creative use of almost everything around us combined with impeccable knowledge of colours and craft, it is hard to believe that Jasleen Kaur Gandhi is just 20 years old. Our Head of Marketing, pursued Economics and Arts from Good Shepherd International School, Tamil Nadu and owing to her exceptional academic grading, she got admission at London College of Fashion, UAL. She has a flair for hand-drawn illustrations, paintings, portrait drawing, paper crafting, fine art and dance.

A young girl who has always been keen in learning new things and gaining exposure, she has gained an in-depth knowledge on the social media and the various customers it caters to. She is the go-to person for anything Creative related to Ciconia. Be it web design, logo, packaging or even marketing for our vendors, Jasleen has an innovative idea for every project.

One would usually find her fiddling around with designs on a white sheet or involved in community service especially for animals. Her love for pets and all kinds of animals is something that is even shown in our Logo!

 Mischief Manager  

Gurpreet Kaur is the wisest and eldest on the team. The backbone and advisor of Ciconia, her golden words of advice are an integral part of every team decision. Primarily, she is an expert in market and vendor research. Bestowed with the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award from ISOE, Gurpreet Kaur has been known for her business acumen since her college days. Along with her Gemmology background, she has unparalleled organizational and management skills. Her presence on the Ciconia team portrays the integrity, morality, and dedication of the company. 

  Angel Advisor

Simmi Gandhi – with her expert fashion sense and creative acumen leads the team to choose and curate the best products for Ciconia’s customers. She has a lot of knowledge about material, sources and markets all over India. She sometimes is found advising and helping vendors curate new products that would be the best seller’s in the market!
